Hendrik C Ferreira was born on July 17, 1954 and educated in South Africa where he matriculated with distinctions in all six subjects in 1971, and received the degrees B. Sc. (Eng.) Electrical (cum laude) in 1975, M. Sc. (Eng.) Electronical (cum laude) in 1977, and D. Sc. (Eng.) in 1980, all from the University of Pretoria.

Dr. M. Hove holds a B.Sc, M.Phil and Ph.D. He has 15 years of industrial experience combined in Power Generation industry, Iron and Steel making, Manufacturing of Capacitors, and Surge Protection Products.
Dr. S. Chinnappen Rimer received her BSc Electrical Engineering and Higher Diploma in Computer Science degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand. She completed her Masters and PhD degrees in Computer Engineering at the University of Pretoria.
Prof. B. S. Paul received his B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Radio physics and Electronics from the University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India, in 1999 and 2003 respectively. He was with Philips India Ltd from 1999-2000. From 2000-2002, he was lecturer of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at SMIT, Sikkim, India.
